This task was practically made for Eames. Yes, he wasn't the only two-headed dragon that Aksel cared for - Miniska & Posika hovers in the background, ready to take them both back down the mountain when they're done - but he was the only two-headed dragon that could breathe fire from both heads. Eames was making quick work of clearing the snow and ice from the trail paths, Aksel followed along to see his friend in action (but he also carried a bag of dragon treats too).
