I do not feel as lovely as you areNo heartfelt sparrows sing their love
like white vined roses trailing
praise so sweet around your shoulders
smiling scents of Spring
balanced in the air a choir
suspended diamonds
glimmering
reflecting in your eyes.
I do not seem as lovely as you do
Mighty stags stand in line
protect and guard, antlers strong
they will defend your heart
through life and limb
a ring of solid flesh sworn
steeled reserve and molten will
no hail will sting
nor harsh wind bite
while loyalty lies
within them
you
are their devotion.
I wish I was as lovely as you are
Noble, proud and brave, a Lady tall
amongst the golden grass
you stand,
humming soft your love to bluest sky
your willow neck
your arms a swan, so graceful
raised up high for birds and bugs
who perch and speak to you
their dreams,
and are gifted
with your smile.
so lovely.

Glad you likes it. I like it as a poem, but it expresses some sentiments bout me i wish i did have. at the same time, its a poem of praise i think too. in the last verse. but yeah, i wish i had a different motivation when writing it.
i suppose in the end, it makes for a complex piece.
