One of the reference sheets I used to make my "A Personal Misconception of Mine" cartoon [link]

Not one of my personal favorites, but my first attempt at mimicking another cartoon's art style.

In the upper left are notes I took on the animation in the Sailor Moon anime (though how many episodes I scoured I'd rather keep undisclosed).

If I remember correctly, I traced the outlines of their faces, but added in my own expressions (it still bugs me how those two hairball things on top of Sailor Moon's head are not level).
