Description
So one day... you're online, looking at memes and comics and such, when a piece of art catches your eye.
"Wow, I wish I could draw like that," you think. The way the colors radiate and glow resonate with you.
"I'll never be able to do that..." you say, as you pick up a pencil.
You make a sketch; "It's passable."
But at that moment you realize you can do better.
So you draw inspiration from those around you; from your favorite shows, books, movies and games -
and slowly, but surely, you improve.
You push yourself hard, and draw like your pen was attached to you from birth.
Each and every day, piles of crumpled paper litter your room, and unfinished sketches lay in your computer files.
But you don't give up.
"Wow, you have such talent!" they say as they see you sketching in class.
You smile, knowing all the pain and work you put into your skills.
"This looks wrong," says another. You hurt a little because it's a piece you're proud of, but take the criticism to heart.
You cry because your art feels inadequate in so many ways, but you keep drawing because you know you can fix it.
Years pass since you first picked up that pencil, and you decide to scroll through your gallery.
Your eyes rest on that first sketch, and you cringe -
But then you look to the piece you're working on, and have a sudden realization:
YOU are that artist you wanted to be all those years ago.
YOU spent hours upon hours WISHING you could be as good as someone else.
YOU created your own style, building on the art you want to see.
YOU drew until you hurt your back and neck, all to get that one piece right.
YOU drew that masterpiece in your gallery.
You made it this far.
Don't give up.

Such a fantastic message! (and a great redraw to boot). Sometimes I do the same thing: look through my gallery and realize "wow, 10-year-old me would be SO PROUD right now." It's a great feeling :')

This is really powerful and inspiring. Iβm kinda tearing up a bit to be honest. I think this looks fantastic, and whatβs most impressive is your drive for improvement, which you have achieved in a big way. Kudos to you!! Youβve come a long way

Wow he upgraded from a dress to a sweater that's some real improvement right there
But in all honesty, this image (plus the description) is really powerful. You've really come a long way! I don't even know you and yet I'm still proud of your work. Never stop improving! You earned a watch!
