Description i dont often see many fractal images where the standard Mandlebrot shape is used, so i decided to get one done, if only for my own enjoyment....This started off simple, then got all complex and i guess i spent most of the time playing with the palettes on the layers to get the desired effect...
Sorry for the HUGE size, but i really didnt want to cut it down, and i could have chose 1000's of spots to render seperately, so i decided to stick with my original.

Great job Phil! I so totally know what you mean by starting out simple and ending up complex. I really like the detail in this one. It is nice to see the mandelbrot shape.

I love your fractal designs! Each have their own themes and stories to tell. Well that's in my opinion.

Also, looks like it's surrounded with frost crystals, too.

I guess that starting shape never appealed to me.....too much dead space in the middle.
