Collage Background with gouche and acrylic

This is for a project on 'Satan'. I started off looking at Dante's Inferno and the 7 circles of Hell which was really interesting but my tutor didn't like my initial ideas so I then went and did some different stuff in my sketchbook from looking at some comtemporary illustrators such as Christian Montegegro. Anyway I was feeling a bit disheartend with it cos I wasn't sure what I was doing but I went and did it anyway to see how it turned out. My tutors thought it was great which was a nice surprise as I didn't think they would like it! I'm quite pleased with it but think I'll add a bit of text into it, I do have some in there but you can't really see it in real life let alone the photo. The 4 corners of the picture are representing the sins of gluttony, murder, lust and temptation.
