Three artists each sketch something, swap/rotate sketches and do line-art/inking, and then swap/rotate again to color. There aren't many rules other than that each person can only do one stage of each drawing, because you want each of the three end drawings to be 1/3 done by each artist.
I've done this before, but in the end it ultimately fell through since one person didn't finish their final drawing and disappeared.
