Because when sleeping, none of us can be sure about who or what is sitting on our chimney....YEAH BCUZ IT CAN BE A GODDAMN ROUGE WITH LONG HAIR RITE?
There was that deviant, whom I totally LOVED her works, was always drawing Rouge with long hair (also always pairing her with Shadow). She was really really pretty in those works so I just, yeah, ripped it off. Wanted to have my version of long haired Rouge the Bat.
Sorry for the background. It's the most I can do with my current skills.
Alternative title to this; "The blue-est Sonic fanart that has no Sonic in it".

It's a totally appropriate location for her too--on a chimney. I mean, she IS a bat and all.
The moon and its wavy reflection on the water in the background looks stellar. One thing that many artists fail to realize when making reflections is that smaller waves need to be accounted for (i.e. darkened) within the bigger reflection.
This is random, I know, but the way you drew the wing on the left (our left) is gorgeous: sharp and simple.
I'm also impressed by you using dulled out colors for Rouge herself. A good deal of artists here will draw Rouge at night and make the pink portions of her clothing ULTRA VIBRANT. Which is not how it works at night.
One thing, though, that I'm trying to figure out...is what are the multicolored confetti-like lights in the background all about? Near the bottom right.
Overall, though, this is looking very good. The proportions are great and I think your art is starting to gain momentum

And well, I myself was surprised at the fact that I was using purple to make those parts look pink. And it worked!
Those are that lights... that are on a spesific building that points out its 'specialness'. Who knows? A bar? A local store? A disco? My bet's on arcade store. Well, yep, I messed up there simply because I didn't plan on that part being so close. If it was a bit further, then it wouldn't look that eye-raping.

Yep. The fact I have severe arachnophobia does absoloutely nothing for me, and anytime a spider comes within 10 yards of me, I will no longer be near it anyway.
