Description
This isn't really for the art...it's for a couple of things I wanna settle (not a rant, no worries xD;; )I sorta just was neutral with the whole Angel thing...at least, didn't know what to think. She seemed a little vauge...ambiguous...but I admit, they did good considering it's a Y-7 show and they were limited. But a lot of places I've been, people either love Angel or hate her. She's cute, she's stereotypical (I admit, the pink bothers me...it's really to me because Stitch is blue. Only thing that would be worse is having her be blue too.), she's ccool, she's gaudy, and so on. I think that maybe the show, if it were more in-depth and longer, could have made it better, because the short time made her seem stiff. Fake. 25 Minutes evil, 5 Good. But...hey. So, I've jotted some opinions of mine about her that helped me with my standing of her that I gathered using the experiment's guide on Wikipedia as notes and references for my Doodle Dump...
Color Issue-The Color? I really don't care much for. I'll hand it to ya, I think it's stereotypical, too. Pink? Just because Stitch is blue. It's an okay color...but still.
Design-I think people rag over this too much. "There are hearts on her back! That's SOOO Lame and retarded!" Heck, Stitch has Tiki shapes on HIS back...that's a tad stereotypical and wierd, seeing as though Jumba knew nothing of Hawaii. "OMG, white V on chest!" Bonnie and Bell have "V"s on their person, too. Jumba probably did it to identify his females. "She's CURVY!" heck, Bonnie has curves too. No one said anything about THAT... "ANTENNAES!" Well? Stitch has them too. Maybe in females, they're longer.
StitchxAngel-Come now, you can't say that this is ALL bad. Opposites attract. But...It can't be any farther than true love than all the Beyonce fans and Beyonce. Infatuation, my friends. No one truly likes someone with the first sight. I think it's really a fling or something. But...the show did have promise; nice idea, but badly written. You either hate someone or are neutral by someone or are friends with someone...then you BUILD something. Love at first sight is a hack. You just like someone's look. I'd find it a bit more believable if Stitch found Angel as any ordinary experiment at first (soeone to rehabilitate, a bad one), grew on her, then was smitten. So, this is why I find other relations with Stitch awesome; Angel and Stitch is unstable. I am actually a quiet SpearmintxStitch fan. Angel could probably work out better with 627 or stay single.
Powers-This is the main unstable prong in the Angel issue; her powers, at first glance, are shaky. How would an evil genious need an experiment that turns good into evil?
Here's why.
If you took a closer look, Jumba worked at Gallaxy Defence Agencies. Aka, the GOOD side. He was evil and working on the good side...he needed funding for the experiments (Hamsterveil) and the materials...which they had. Then...he realized...what if they take me experiments? What if they turn them good? Take them and put all my good research to waste? All my work? My life? Then...an idea...something to change them back in case that happens...a foolproof...the creation of my savior...my ANGEL...
ZE END-Hope you weren't bored out of your mind with my rambling. Conclusion? Angel isn't so bad. And...I am definitely not going to try to change people's opinions over her. Simply helping those who didn't know about her or were neutral on her. It wasn't until this long that I looked more into her and realizes some things. Please...link someone to this page if there is some ranting going on somewhere about her, or someone crazed and on either end of the schism rabbling about it...and if there's any questions, I'm here NOT being constructive. Taa~

You think her Japanese name is Tenshi, right?
In Japanese she's pronounced Enjeru instead the Japanese word and by the way it's pretty you drew her, but her thick top of her antennaes down to her thin antennaes made it look as if she has hair.
Oh, you'll see Angel had dark blue eyes while Stitchie's eyes are pitch black.

It does boggle the mind when you think about it. I still don't know why they made a Japanese version of Lilo and Stitch. He doesn't even look like an anime character. He was originally created in America.

Angel looks so pretty in your illustration! I love the way you colored her eyes! I do like the pairing of Stitch and Spearmint. I'd love to read the fan fiction,do you by any chance know where I could find it?

Yeah, they never gave Angel much of a chance. It's all unfair because they didn't give her much to say so it kinda makes her look like a jerk. I hate the people who bad mouth her because she and Stitch like each other.
But my words mean nothing to people, but I really like the drawing.

I agree on that.I love Angel but I wish they would have made more episodes with her and a good personality for her. I never really cared for her design. I liked it. I mean sheΒ΄s a female itΒ΄s okay for her to have curves.

I agree. Had Angel's episode been a bit longer, or had the episodes been longer in general, they could have fleshed Angel's personality up a lot more, make her more believable, maybe even get a little deeper into having Angel and Stitch actually fall in love rather than Stitch just instantly falling in love with her. That's my only beef with Angel, seems a little mary-sueish when you think about it, instantly having Stitch fall in love with her... and the pink thing bugs me too, I thought she was lavander when I first saw her pic on the Experiment Tracker thingie that came with Stitch! The Movie.
But anyway, I think maybe if they'd had Angel appear in the movie rather than the series (not the original Lilo and Stitch or Stitch Has a Glitch, I mean Stitch! The Movie), they could have done a whole lot more with Angel, but that goes back to if the episode had been longer and better written.
But, all in all, I adore Angel. She's... well... Angel. I think they could have come up with a slightly better name for her (like... I dunno... she looks a bit like an Amber to me... *shot* ), and maybe changed her color to purple or something less predictable than pink, but I really like her.
Ok, that rant thing aside (if you wanna call it a rant), I love this pic. It's awesome.

That's exactly what I think, yes D: She IS rather Mary-Sue. I have this wierd theorythinkingthat, if Chris Sanders really made her plot/made an episode/hour long special himself/designed her/did her script, ect., she woulda been huckuva better than now. Some other chump did the Snafu episode and someone else did the plot for the series on a whole. Angel and several other experiments were actually originally intended to never be set free.
Thanks! And Thanks a plenty for the comment, I really like reading from people <3

Being the crazy writer I am, I take everything canon and split it wide open anyway... S/A isn't bad, but I don't personally support them either. Awesome smexy pic tho x3;

My view on Angel's been shaky from when the episode first aired until now, and it still is and will be. But my main view on her is both ways, really. Because anyone with a brain can tell, the Series Stitch and the Movie Stitch have very different personalities. I love the movie Stitch because he has so much character, life, enthusiasm, reason. The series Stitch has practically none of that... He's just... there, being funny, hurting himself, acting like almost a perfect dog, even though in the two good, non-series movies he was far from that. So, I say, give Angel to the Series Stitch. I'm keeping my Movie Stitch away from her. >.>

xD;; I just commented earlier on how Stitch seems sorta...OOC in the series. I think for either Stitch, Angel isn't really cut out for him, but DEFINITELY not my movie boi |<

Nuuuuh, definately not the movie man. ButImean, if you really think about it, the only reason Stitch likes Angel is because she's designed to make the boy experiments like her. SO, I DUNNO, REALLEH. AHM HALF 'N' HALF.
