On a small island in Oslo (well,just a few minutes from Oslo with boat). It`s called "hovedøya", noone lives there,but a lot of people visit during the summer.

Yeah,monks lived in the monastery. And it was used during World war 2 by the Germans...there are a few old houses there, they seem about a 100 years old or so, so I think people lived there before, but I`m not sure.
