Random sketch of my buuuuutiful friend Abbie!!!!!!!! XD..... this was done on GIMP 2 and took about an hour or so.... anyway.. I felt like I had to put something up as I haven't done in months!!Related content

well do you have a tablet because i never would have been able to do this without it.... other than that i worked off a photo of my friend that was on facebook... then created about 6 different versions and chose my favourite!!

yeah It works really well with gimp.... nothing like using paint or da muro... it works like a pen where you put more pressure on then the thicker the line comes out.... it's amazing!! plus there is no lag!!

Great job! The touch of color is wonderful and it's so realistic! You said you did this in GIMP so would that be with a mouse or a tablet? Wonderful job, look forward to more from you!

awww thank you!! I had trouble deciding on which version to put up but I agree that this one works really well.... yeah I have a tablet but It was the smallest and cheapest I could find... the actual drawing bit is smaller than A5!!

yeah It's ok... and it works really well with what i do because i prefer doing traditional art.. but those are large canvases.. plus universally all art teachers hate manga so it's a deffinate out of school thing!!! It depends what you think is cheap... mine was around 50-60 pounds which is pretty cheap... i'd say that's 70 dollars.. i don't know the maths of it.... but if you want a good one which is cheap you're thinking about 100 to 150 pounds...
with the pictures, your art department at school/college/uni should have scanner to put artwork on the compute... mines even got tablets as part of it's resources... so have a looksies!!

Well, my school is well, poor, it's a Charter school so there fore we have to pay for everything our selves, this is why we only have paint in our art department, and chalk, not even a kelm. (I think I spelled that wrong, it's the thing you use to heat up clay.) I guess I need to find a way to get some money then, I only have about 25 pounds or 40 dollars.

Perhaps try looking in a library... they might have one there..... yeah I guess it explains my school, I go to a private all girls school with great facilities... but I still would have thought that others would have atleast a scanner!!
