Oscar the Minccino
Age: Young Adult

Height: 2 ft

Personality:
Despite nearing adulthood, Oscar still retains an inner child within himself. A bit of a joker, he loves to make others laugh and have fun once and awhile. Adults view his methods of fun as unorthodox, strange, but he hardly cares, maintaining a jubilant attitude throughout the day. Should there be a 'mon in need, he would be the first to act, his caring nature taking hold, assisting in any way he possibly can. Being a very family oriented 'mon, if anyone bothers his family, an unusual serious side is seen, reserved especially for them. Known to have a thick skull in the family, he can be exceedingly stubborn in his ways and actions, making it difficult to sway him once he has decided the course of action. With the stubbornness of a Tauros and a golden heart of an innocent adventurer, he strives to fix the wrongs while providing fun along the way.

History:
At a young age, Oscar was forced to be a constant babysitter of his siblings. His parents, living lives they were not able to have for having kids too soon, were constantly out, neglecting him and siblings. It fell on him to act as a parent would, teaching his younger siblings as much as he could while more and more kept appearing. He was never able to the childhood he desired yet he was dedicated to devoting his time to his siblings to ensure they would have a better childhood than his own.
Despite being forced in this position, he still retained a certain childlike wonder and playfulness having been stuck around children most of his life. As adulthood started to creep into his life and after watching his parents finally settle down to become proper parents for once, he slowly looked forward to going on his own. Till one day, his father came home with an enormous debt in his paws from gambling.
Desperate, he sought anywhere to help with this problem till one day, during job hunting, he came across an injured Roserade along the path. After nursing the Roserade to full health, he baffled to discover the plant Pokémon had no recollection of his past. Unwilling to let the Roserade, now named Leaf, wonder about clueless Oscar convinced his family to adopt him onto the fold; making him of part of the family.
Oscar never strays too far from Leaf, quite fond of the Roserade, looking after him as he would with any other of his siblings.

Other Facts:
-Oscar is a heavy sleeper along with having a loud snore. It's difficult to wake him up unless there's a sweet scent in the air.
-The whiskers are very sensitive, able to detect even the slightest shift in the wind.
-He's an avid fan of placing pitfalls in various spaces to surprise others. His family knows his tricks all too well but others do not~

Leaf the *Roserade
Age: Unknown. Possibly somewhere around his teens.

Height: 3’5”

History:
Nobody knows really. Whatever memory he had seemed to be completely wiped out after the mysterious incident that brought him to be found by Oscar. He was nearly strangled to death with a concussion to the head. It was a miracle the boy managed to survive through such trauma.
With nowhere else to go after that Oscar’s family welcomed him to stay with them. Ever since then he has been gladly living alongside the large family of rodents, adopting the name “Leaf” after being unable to recall his original name. He seems to enjoy tending to their garden when he is not at play with the kids. Other than that he also likes to follow Oscar around quite a lot.

Personality:
Looks can be quite deceiving with this one. He may look like a nearly fully grown Roserade though his demeanor can be easily compared to that of a child. Some assume that the damage he took to the head reverted him to this child-like state. His knowledge as well seems to be quite dull, and he is often in need of assistance to understand many different things just as a growing kid would.
Despite that he is a very kind pokemon around those he takes a liking to. He may be quite stingy when it comes to sharing his own personal belongings though, even rude if people continually insist or uninvitedly touch his things. Leaf is also quite a thrill seeker believe it or not. As calm as he may seem most of the time he is not afraid to climb up to high and dangerous places in search of entertainment. Unfortunately for the people in charge of watching after him it can be quite a pain. Even more so that he tends to wander off if not kept under a close watch.

Other Facts:

-He claims to be able to “speak” to plants and is often found sitting in the garden conversing with them.
-He is able to speak a different language other than the common tongue, though he can’t quite recall the name of the other. He may occasionally mix in words of his other language into his speech as he tends to struggle with the native language.
-Like any other Roserade he has a set of vines that he can whip out from his roses. Two on each, although only one from each set has poisonous thorns.
