Occupation: An inventor of the Eggman Empire who designs weapons, gadgets and other machinery to aid in the empire.
Other info: He's very sensetive about his voice not hitting the "puberty" age, he loves paper airplanes and secretly supports the Freedom Fighters by messaging them plans and documents of the Empire to Tails and his friends.

Personality: Shy but polite, Gadget is pretty much a normal teenager who wants to fit in. He's very intelligent, using big words despite only knowing only some of them. He's very sensitive when it comes to hurting his feelings or remembering the death of his mother.

Gadget was born from a bickering couple with the mother wanting to raise her child and the father being an alcoholic. After his mother died from a heart attack when he was only 4 years old, his father was left to raise him.
Gadget's father was abusive and drinked a lot, leaving Gadget to mostly find his outing on his own away from his father. He learned much about the Eggman Empire at the age of 8 but always looked up to Tails as a teacher and a father figure. Tails was very supportive of Gadget and his soon to be love for inventing things. He offered Gadget a job to work with him and his friend Sonic every now and then and he accepted. It was enough for him to survive and try and sustain his father who was still abusive in his drinking habits.
By the age of 13, Gadget's life was turning for the worse. Because of his abusive father, he started to inherit his drinking habits and would steal his father's drinks for his own. He grew to be bitter and resentful of his father, treating him like he was and even blamed him for the death of his mother. But he still soldiered on in hopes that his dad's misery would finally end.
As luck would have it, his died died of alcoholic poisoning. The only way he could maintain himself was to sell off most of his gadgets for extra money to survive.
Around that time, he would be met by Dr. Starline of Eggman's facility, and took an interest in Gadget's line of work.

At age 14, Gadget would be drafted in as one of the few inventors of Eggman. He was treated well there and he liked what he was doing. He still however wanted to use his works for good, so he would usually be send an "anonymous" message to the Freedom Fighters that include much important data or research plans needed for any mission.
He would still continue to have his drinking habits behind closed doors.

By the time he reached age 16, he was promoted to a high class engineer, working with the higher-ups. He still felt a little out of the crowd despite having a decent reputation. He had a small hobby of making cakes to distract him from his drinking problems. However, because of his drinking, he developed Alcoholic cardiomyopathy, which would force him to take medication to curb it. The side effects is him getting drowsy which makes it hard for him to concentrate.
He would then encounter Hana the Rabbit and the two would eventually bloom a relationship despite their differences.
