Description
A united couple of fantasy tribal monkeys having some alone time to snuggle and nuzzle among the trees.
I once had a story/comic idea in my head (as I often do) that involved a world where humans never existed, leaving other animals, like other primates, to evolve in ways they (possibly) weren't able to because of man. The story would be about this duo where something would happen to their tribe. This "something" would involve strange glowing meteorites and would lead to this couple taking a journey of hope and discovery.
While doing this sketch, I put light circles and ovals all over the place because it was relaxing and I liked the way it looked on the background and characters. XD

Feeeeelz! I adore these monkeys and the markings along their faces and hands. The colors of the background and overall give it such a mystical, otherworldly feel that is still most warm. I can totally see this as a comic book by the background alone, but these two precious monks are adorable and their back story sounds most interesting! Their tribal attire is a fantastic touch too xD
