Really, because I was taught in science class in middle school about meters and centimeters. A school in America btw. I was also taught conversion from Fahrenheit to Celsius. Rather most schools don't teach that anymore, they forgot or didn't pay attention.Β

You can get lessons online. It's just like riding a bike and easier than learning to type. Though, you do need to get print down. Cursive is easily taken for granted and is known to be useless, but it's the basics of literature when publishing. If you don't have a computer and need to write a book report, an essay or an application for a job at an office, cursive writing will come in handy, if you do it correctly. Not to mention cursive is hard for anyone to forge, when you write your signature. It makes your style of writing more unique and it's beautiful to look at. People complain about not reading cursive, but that's only, because they don't know it. If you can learn cursive, you can read it.
