Lindo is generally a very nice guy who is willing to go that extra mile to achieve a goal. Paradise is a far outreached goal to him, something he should strive to achieve by all means necessary. And how could he not be glad to interact and blow through these trials with his fellow felines? He stays eager to please, eager to work and eager to move forward.

▹ Gentle | Mild in temperament or behavior; kind or tender.
  "Don't worry about a thing, you'll be okay."

Because he himself is very fragile he treats other cats as such as well. Treat others as you wish to be treated, right? He treads on every relationship lightly, as if he could shatter it with one false move. It's both a blessing and a curse. He's no good at advancing to something more than just a simple friend because of this. As well as that he is sometimes rejected with the sense that the other party feels like they're being treated as a child.

There aren't many cats that would accept nearly anyone. Because he see's himself as lesser than practically any cat- he's willing to put aside himself to enjoy others. Whether the cat be beautiful or foul, he genuinely just loves. He'll accept those who have done wrong openly just as easily as he would to an innocent kit. This is something that comes so easily to him because he doesn't truely believe that the world they live in can have an absolute justice. In this sence he's capable of seeing past the 'wrong doings' that others do.

"I had a dream we all went to Paradise- it was so beautiful."
Ever since he was a kit the idea of Paradise was dazzling to him. Even though his parents rebuked the idea and tried to feed him that idea as well, it was something that just never lost its charm. After hearing what had happened past the gates, his desire for Paradise grew immensely. He will gladly fight tooth and nail in order to allow himself and the others around him to enter Paradise. The fact that they were graced with the trials instead of being banished flat out for being half-souls just has him beaming.

"I didn't really do anything, but thank you."

Self-Esteem? Lindo doesn't really have much of that. He's confident in basic abilities but is horrible in acknowledging anything past that. This also makes it hard for him to trust in others that try pushing him forward, further than his comfort zone. Acknowledging praise is also something he's no good at. Per protocol he'll simply deny it but politely say his thanks, regardless.

Lindo doesn't have it in him to stand up for any sort of moral he may have. If anything, he's much rather push his own agenda aside as long as the other party would be satisfied with it in the end. He's great with secrecy and is completely unbiased regarding the thing's he brushes aside. As long as it means less trouble for him in the long run he's fine with letting someone do as they please.

Interacting with other cats is something Lindo is very bad at. He's not confident in matters he's interested in and completly drops conversations because he refuses to believe what he wants to say is worth saying. Next to this he's also horrible at meeting other cats. In fact, in general, unless the other party initiates some sort of contact with him there isn't any contact at all.

There isn't much that isn't capable of frightening this poor tom. He's very jumpy and hates when cats sneak up on him. Because of his pessimistic nature he's always quick to assume that the other party is up to no good. The environmental factor also plays in with his frightened reactions. In a place that's so dark and ruthless one has to be on their toes almost constantly. At least, thats what Lindo thinks.

In general, Lindo is a very lonesome cat. He's no good at socializing and tends to keep to himself because of this. Even though he loves attention and being around others, it's just something that's hard for him to really do. Because of this he goes through bouts of sadness. He'll fall into times where he'll simply brood all day or a bout of jealousy will have him putting down himself.

  Lindo was born from his mother, Diana, and his father, Odeous, into a litter of three. His other siblings included his sisters Fiona and Blair. Times were simple for them, they lives with a band of cats that stayed away from the propaganda of Paradise, instead simply relying on eachother to live in the harsh times they had in store for them. Lindo's parents were very against the idea of Paradise and attempted to drill that into their kit's heads as soon as they were born. The world was cruel, it would do them no good to believe in such a fantasy. Word of what had happened in Paradise's Gates was beginning to spread. It was no surprise that eventually a messenger came to spread the news. Unfortunately for them, these cats were not interested in what he had to say. All except Lindo. Come nightfall he snuck away from the camp in search for the messenger. Still young, he knew very little of the forests past his home and in turn the night showed no mercy to him. Past a huge oak, a murder of crows fell upon him. Lindo cowered as they picked and pulled at his pelt, scratching and bruising him. He quickly scrambled to his feet and ran as fast as he could back home. Upon returning home come early morning, Lindo was greeted by his parents. His mother, sweet as could be, quickly began to tend at his wounds. His father, however, was not nearly as kind. He began to chew is son out, demanding to know why he would recklessly abandon his home in the middle of the night. On hearing the answer, he became infuriated. If Lindo thought that he could chase Paradise, then he could do it alone. He kicked Lindo out of their home and told him never to come back. The tom's mother was crushed, but she couldn't bring herself to challenge her mate's decision. Lindo barely made it by on his own. He was an absolute mess- who wouldn't be at this point? He's been thrown out of the only home he'd ever known and sent off to the hellish land that could so easily bring him to death. After months of traveling he found himself at the place that his home had once forsaken. The Gates of Paradise. There was a bunch of cats that quickly welcomed him into their bustling little group. He finally was able to rest for the first time in months.   Finally the day came when the Gates of Paradise opened up and he entered with the other cats, only to be told that they were half-souls and unworthy of Paradise. But not all hope was lost, they were given the Trials as a chance to redeem themselves. And after falling through the abysmal darkness, they finally began.

His blue eyes caught sight of another cat, a tom. Not just any tom, but a well groomed kittypet, A fine one at that. The cat relaxed, humming a tune of self satisfaction to himself as he casually made his way over.

"Even planted face down into dirt I can tell how gorgeous you are." SootSong purred, eyeing the other tom from a safe distance. He didn't other pushing his luck too much, especially at an embarrassing moment for the other. More so he wasn't sure how well his flirtatious manner would be taken by a kittypet. For all he knew as soon as the young tom brushed himself off from his fall he'd bolt without a second thought.

What was your character's stance on entering paradise?

Lindo was excited to enter Paradise. It was the one place he'd always dreamed would be real. And to be able to go inside the Gates? It would practically be a dream come true.

Was your character a scholar, did they believe in the lore found about locating paradise?
Lindo was no scholar, but he was very intrigued by the lore of Paradise. Though when he'd learn bits and pieces about it his family would reject everything immediately he himself clung to ever fiber of it desperately.
