As Alexander was venturing further more throughout the Mercury Nail Salon, the manager went over to the curious Native American teen to introduce herself. Her name was Francine West, she had been in the beauty business during 1974 when she was younger before Mercury Nail Salon came into existence during 1979. She was about to make nice with Alexander until... The worst was yet to come. Regina Baxter (a cruel rich girl and bully who was last seen in Volume 1) was snooping around the nail salon while Stacey Wellens(Regina's childhood friend) didn't say one word and remained respectfully silent. Regina then noticed Alexander talking with Francine and started badmouthing and making fun of him. Alexander felt very annoyed, hurt and fed up with Regina's crass/boorish attitude towards him. He tried to hold back tears to the best of his ability, but it was no good. There was no reasoning with someone about as disrespectful, bratty, rude, evil, ignorant, insecure, insensitive, cocky, arrogant, conceited, sickening and despicable as Regina Baxter.
