Nightmare Before Christmas 
I cannot believe that it's already December!
I've forgotten to update here.  I meant to do a feature for the past two months, and, for lack of time, and a bit of lost thoughts, I'm finally back. 
I really wish I could say that I've been drawing.  I really haven't been.  I lost all enthusiasm as the fall stretched into winter and the days got shorter.  Darkness is not inspirational to me.  Not at all.
Halloween is one of my favorite holidays, but I am especially excited for Christmas this year, because my boyfriend is coming back from military training for the holiday!! I'm so excited!!
So, here are some inspiring pieces that I have found, from Halloween to Christmas.

Hi there,

I am MagicalJoey and I run a poetry group [ My-Soul-Bleeds-Ink ] and a prose group [ Ordinary-Writing ]. For December this year I plan on hosting a 'Christmas/Winter' themed contest and I would like your permission to use this image as one of the visual prompts for the contest. What this means is the following:
I place the image in the explanatory journal, crediting you.
The artist, if inspired by the image, bases their poem/prose entry off the picture by writing a poem/story about how they respond to it.
In the comments section of their deviation they will link the picture and credit you as its source. (This also allows for you to see what they have written, what your image prompted in their heads.
So I am asking permission to please use this image as one of my prompts.
