It was now night and it had been a long day for Cotton Cross. For some reason, there was an increase in today's injured ponies. It wasn't that bad, but for new EMT's such as herself, it was understandable that anypony would've been tired.

Her friend, Nurse Redheart, noticed her behavior and decided to alleviate that. She was no spa pony nor anything along the lines of it, but she can tell that her new friend needed a bit of a break. So, out of all the options she could have chosen, she chose to take Cotton Cross to a local bar.

"So... why am I here again?" asked Cotton Cross.

"I brought you here to relax." -Nurse Redheart smiled- "Besides, this is a great way for us to hang out with each other outside of work."

Cotton Cross looked up in thought before looking back at Redheart.

"Huh, I guess you do have a point there." -Cotton Cross looked hesitant- "So... uh... what exactly do we do in a bar?"

"Y-You've never been here before?"

Cotton Cross nodded, "Never been and I never even gave it a thought."

Nurse Redheart chuckled, "Well, good thing I brought you here. You just wait for the bartender to come along, we give him our requests, and that's basically it!"

Cotton Cross raised a brow, "That's it? Jeez, this is like a restaurant."

"I mean, take a look around us." -Nurse Redheart pointed at their surrounding area- "It's exactly like a restaurant. It's just... more mature I would say."

"Oh... how'd I miss that?" Cotton Cross looked at her surrounding area as well, only now noting how it resembled a restaurant.

"I have no idea..." -she turned to Cotton Cross- "Setting that aside, what do you plan on getting?"

"Uh... apple cider? I've heard of it, but never got to drink it."

"Haha! Oh, you're going to love it, my friend."

30 minutes later...

"So, how's the apple cider?"

Cotton Cross looked at Nurse Redheart with a drunken expression, a somewhat goofy smile on her face.

"Apple cider? Hehe, it's alright..."

Nurse Redheart chuckled at the sight. This was Cotton Cross's second drink, and she already seemed no longer sober. She herself got some water since she didn't feel like drinking at a night like this. Though, with the thought of Cotton Cross traveling back home in her state, she was glad that she decided to drink water.

"Maybe that was a bit too strong for your taste, my friend, maybe a bit too strong..."
