Promising but I see what you mean about the cold inhibiting better attempts. Were you avoiding the ceiling on purpose? I think a couple contacts with the archway would improve the dynamism.

You mean "avoid" by not painting it? The thing is 4m high, so i had problems. Perhaps i could light it with a handlamp...

I'm sorry, my sense of scale is off. The camera must have been placed pretty high. Is it possible to simply run up the ramp and strike the ceiling as high as you can then back down to continue bouncing a while before striking the ceiling again later? I didn't mean for you to reach up to the center area but a couple points near the edge but significantly inward would definitely add interest.
On another note, have you ever tried throwing the light? Is it breakable? If so, can it be guarded against damage. It could be a Contemporary Muybridge-ian Dada series due to the new idea of light painting combined with motion studies in a chaotic form.
