One of my goals for this summer was to finally work with watercolours again, because I've been missing it. Another thing I've been missing was the more art nouveau-y stuff I used to do and so I decided to bring both back for this piece. This was so much fun (hopefully I'll be able to fit in some more such paintings before the sun disappears again for the rest of the year ) and I'm really quite happy with the outcome, too!
There is some glossy silver paint in the mane and tail, so they have a bit of a shine to them in real life.

Materials used: Watercolour, fineliner and white acrylic on watercolour paper.
