My work in progress for the new #FortnightlyCharacter competition run by *LhuneArt

The brief: "For this fortnightly challenge, you must choose a typical Disney "Good Guy" and design him or her as an evil character! Perhaps they only appear as good as they really are and have dark secrets, or perhaps they just got tired of being good and went gloriously evil instead! It's entirely up to you, so long as the original character can still be recognized in your design!" (Must be humanoid)

So here's the story of how Princess Aurora went bad...

They all lived happily ever after... They always live happily ever after. At least that's what they want you to think. Because the people couldn't bear the reality of what happens to people like her. There is no happily ever after.

Want to know what really happened to dear Princess Aurora? They say she was awakened from her curse by True Love's Kiss - not so. How could it be so? A free spirit like her, conveniently falls for the man she was set to wed from the day she was born? Alas, when the Prince kissed her, nothing happened. Absolutely nothing. She remained in her slumber for many more years...

That is until one day, when Maleficent's curse had eaten away at poor Aurora's heart so much, that a mere husk of her former self awakened, still yearning to find her one True Love. With a single rose in her hand, she is said to wander the kingdom at night, stealing kisses from charming young men in the hopes that one of them will be her Prince Charming; infecting young men with the sleeping curse that plagued her for all these years.

Soooo... For colour thumbs here, we've got
1. A cold, ice-queen type (could rock the zombie look, maybe?)
2. Getting her ghost on (and rocking the pink dress. Ew, pink. As if I wasn't already far enough out of the comfort zone)
3. Maleficent colours - since it was her curse in the first place! Kind of digging this one the most at the moment!
