yessss. that's the main reason why i like this ship so much. xie lian is so chill and doesn't start drama when he finds out hua cheng's secrets. he just finds out by himself what kind of person hua cheng is and doesn't care about what other people say. at the same time he isn't clueless either (he does suspect hua cheng's identity), but he's calm

ikr aaaaaaaaaaaaaah xie lian there was like "lol i pretty much know already who you are. i'm not that dumb bro. why do i need to ask again?". hua cheng always look cool but he's so cute inside. i love how the author doesn't describe his thoughts but gives enough hints to let us guess what he's thinking. i expecially like when he lifts an eyebrow and "wtf your highness??" inside

Yes haha Xie Lian is kinda like an allknowing grampa who has seen it all and can't be surprised anymore XD the approach of the characters and their feelings really is amazing. I might even like it more than in mdzs but haven't read so far so can't judge yet. But I really like how the author makes us feel there's a deep bond between them ^^

General pei jr,the windmaster, fu yao, nan peng,ban yue, mo kei?? I think.... I am just at the part where they escaped this pit in banyue and xie lian boldly uses the name hua cheng to adress san lang. And HC laughs XD I wonder what happened to fu yao...apparantly he disappears??

oh, fu yao is the character i'm most conflicted about. he's a well built character like the others, but i might not love him as much as the others (still like him tho). wind master is one of my favourite! probably my 3rd or 4th favourite. and that part where xie lian calls hua cheng with his name like nothing happens aaaaaaaaah i love that part. hua cheng has been all worried about how xie lian would react when he finds out his identity, but xie lian is so chill hahahaΒ

Fu yao and Nan feng still seem a bit mysterious to me... Windmaster is a genderswitcher right? It was only hinted but the charactersheet said so as well. I love that part a lot too. HC also worried he might find him ugly haha. Also later when Xie lian is back in heaven and the gods realize he was with HC and they all are so scared and he's just like, whatever no big deal just traveling with a demonlord XD

hahahaha i love that attitude of his. and yea, wind master is a gender switcher. he's very easy going and good kid. as a character he might not be as elaborated as the others, but his role in the story is awesome. fu yao and nan feng are kinda mysterious, i guess, but they're great ((fu yao roll eyes hahahaha)). when xie lian needed someone to assist him, nobody accepted but those two sneaked out to help him and they're so sweet (and tsun)
