Description
There are many discoveries made in the universe, but in known history none was quite as shocking as the meeting of the two kaled races.Looking at them one would never think that they came from the same ancestor. The new Skaro kaleds and the nomad Kaleds. Truly the universes strangest cousins.
After getting over the first shock of discovering their shared genetics. The Kaleds of New Skaro and nomads became quick allies. Despite the two having incredibly different body structure and technologies. The two species happily share history and technology freely between their races. Forming trust and friendship almost never heard of in the universe.
Here we have A secorem ambassador explaining a fruit grown in their ship hydroponics to a new skaro farmer. Note Despite one being planet bound and the other space bound. The complete differences of their appearance, travel machines and status. The two converse as if they've been friends for years.
A cross over meeting of my nomad Kaleds and Cat-snake's New Skaro kaleds.

I genuinely think the two would get along if they'd ever meet.
I'd also like to take this moment to point out the bands on the ambassadors lower arms. I like to think that nomad kaled are separated into classes and the amount of bands they wear signify how high they are. Eg: no bands = working class and the opposite. bands on all four arms and all eight head tentacles = The Emperor.

This is incredibly cute.
The biggest thing between them here is that the New Skarosean still managed to keep qualorblmn as a fruit. So that would be a huge uniting factor.

Indeed Many a friendly debate was had, on the pleasurable nuances of qualorblmn and it's different varieties of both the New skaro farms and the Secorem Hydroponics.

They have a greenhouse that used to be a warship

That is awesome. The secorems have about three hydroponics sections in each home ship. Not including the experiment green houses.

Having more than one hydroponic or keeping the experimental plants separate from the main hydroponics?

Yeah. You can always move the plants if one of the hydroponics malfunctions or get destroyed and you don't have to worry about mutant plants poisoning the food supply.

Yeah. Even the best thought plan about making a new foods ends up with some rather dangerous prototypes.
Even though there are quite the few horror stories. Nothing is quite as popular as the hilarious story of the exploding gourds experiment.
The poor science kaled was just conducting an experimenting in crossing an aqua melon with a hum gourd. He ended up purple for months.

Indeed. Though the main concern was how on earth it got through his armor to stain his skin.

Possibly XD
Even though the expirement was a failure at producing a new food. The last few hybrid gourds where used in pranks, to great effect.

The New Skaro at this point might be squares when it comes to pranking; their most extreme "bad form" is sneaking out of work to be with their consorts.

Them and the poor scientist that made them. He never hears the end of it and does not appreciate his nickname. (purpamelon)

On the upside he still loves his job in plant experimentation and has never made another explosion.
Though it is advised that you don't mention exploding gourds around him, or you will get a vax tomato to the eyestalk.
He grows them special and has very good aim. (vax tomatoes are very sticky to boot)
