Greatly shaded wisps and demons arise
From the blinding brightness you love.
The light shines and flickers like fireflies
Or a guiding hand from above.

All that you see is glitter on roses,
But nightfall is sure to come soon.
The sun bears mercy and offers a few doses,
But we're already lost to the moon.

Can you feel the breeze?
Can you hear the sound?
Now, the winds wheeze
And the stars aren't very proud.

Again, the sun will rise
And the shadows will be forgotten,
Because the light will still blind
And the demons will seek their den.
