Nice, but it leaves me with more questions than answers:
How does she fire it?
What's the larger barrel on bottom for?
...How's she even going to reload it when ponies are lacking in the opposable thumbs department?
Than again, maybe I'm missing the point; the pic looks cool, and whatever problems AJ might have once she's done aiming and wants to start firing---if you were aiming for "cool" with this pic, you hit a bullseye!

She fires it by flicking the top of her wrist up slightly, which means she has to essentially draw it every time she wants to fire, so the first shot will normally be the easiest and most accurate.
The bottom barrel is a canister holder, be it an explosive, a gas canister, maybe a Thermos-type canister with ramen or cocoa in it, you know.
