So this is the full version of my current icon of my OC Amaranthine Sky. Turns out DA's icon size is 50 x 50 and not 100 x 100 so I had to crop the poor dear so I wouldn't lose quality ;n; I wanted to practice with pixels cause they're super cute and this is the result of it!It really didn't take too long. I know it may not be the best pixel, but it's my first time and I tried really hard to make it look nice so I hope you guys think so too!<3

I replied to someone earlier describing that, but I'll say again >u< I made it on a small canvas (100 x 100) with a 1 px brush to give the pixelised effect. I drew the pony and shaded as I normally would, except it was a little harder getting used to the pixels. I then edited the eyes into three different states: opened, half closed and closed and put them together into an animation in photoshop. If you search for a gif making tutorial, someone might be able to describe that better than me >u<; Also thank you<3

I drew it on Manga Studio but you can do it on any program with a 100 x 100 canvas and a 1px pen tool. I made three frames and put them into an animation in Photoshop c:
