Description
A commission of Dolomedes planatarius, the great or fen raft spider. It ended up about twice as large as I was expecting, but the shape came out really well and I'm pleased with how much detail I was able to get on it.

Yikes, looks like it's ready to pounce at me D: But this is amazing, with all the bronze-y colours and the different thickness on the legs. Does it fully stand up on it's own?

Classic spider threat pose, it's probably just going to wave it's legs around a bit instead of any actual aggression.
It does stand, and it can in a variety of poses since I used really thick wire to make the legs.
