Because the sketchpad this is in smudges pencil like craaaaazy, and I wanted to stop it.

Anyway, this is the M61A5 Downshift - it's an idea I had for a Titanfall 2 assault rifle that has downward recoil. As opposed to normal upward recoil. The idea behind it, I think, is for it to be to the G2A5 semiauto what the Man 'O War from Black Ops 3 is to the Sheiva semiauto.

Which is to say, it has similar power even through it fires automatically... with a few drawbacks, like poor handling and ADS speed. As Titanfall 2 is the game where these flaws will literally murder you, I mean for the M61A5 to replace some of these little flaws with incredibly counterintuitve recoil. The basic idea behind the M61A5 is that you absolutely can kick ass with it, it's just very counterintuitive.
