Testing animation practice with Clip Studio paint.Since I donβt have the Ex upgrade, I only have 24 frames of animation. That was exactly the amount I needed XD

This has to be one of the best looking hypnosis images yet! The surprised and/or helpless look on Twilight's face, combined with the shading and the obedient look in her eyes just really makes it all fit in. She also looks rather snuggly, as the fluffy look on her body makes her look willing to snug anyone she's told to. I just really like the fluffiness combined with the pose, since being under hypnosis, she can be told to capture or snuggle anyone, so THEY"LL desire it, too. I'd say this work of art's awesome! Nicely done, my good friend!

Yeah first you gotta go to new > and click on animation, and I think it'll bring up the timeline for you? or if not it'll be under Window> or whatever I guess

Ooooh, I really need to figure that stuff out first. It was mostly me trying to draw the next frame but
it wouldn't let me draw on the next layer. =w=

something I had to figure out was it's very picky about the connection between frames and layers. Essentially there needs to be a layer with the samen ame as a frame (usually jsut a number)
and like so clicking betwene the layers also changes the frame you're on. If you want to make new layers in there or merge stuff down all for the sake of drawign then you'll need to move the layer out of the animation folder first. in fact you could make a new frame, delete the layer it creates with it, and then rename another layer with the same number, move it in its place, and boom that works haha.

if it would help, gimp doesn't have a limit to the length of animation
if you wanted a longer animation you could draw the frames in your preferred program
then import them to another program that would then be able to animate them.

Yeah true. The only reason I didn't do that with Animate is it's weird about importing or pasting stuff.
It's been a loooong time since I've used Gimp and I never did look at the animation stuff with it haha

You don't always have to be a good artist to critique haha. I'm in a critiquing group and we can all help sometimes to give our thoughts on things. As long as you understand the process then it's all good|
Artistic talent and the analytical eye are two separately trained things :3
An artist needs both but you only need the latter to be able to appreciate art from a critical perspective :3
