Plx excuse my horrible handwriting.demanded that I upload my rendition of Gatsby for our final project.
SOOO, here we go. xD AS WE ALL CAN SEE, I stoled Sin City's art style to portray how I think Gatsby should RLY look. [because the one in the movie = NOT Gatsby]
Also, lalala OMG NOT KAWAII DESU? WOT OF THIS?
1 hour of intense preliminary sketching and model referencing, 2 hours of painful marker work [2 of my 4 sharpies DIED ] And another fifteen minutes of tiny detail editing/cleanup :B
Gatsby belongs to F. Scott Fitzgerald.

I have much love for Robert Redford, but I also love this picture a lot. It's excellent. I think it really captures a darker side of Gatsby that needs to be seen, while also simultaneously capturing what may be his finest moment. I'll be the first to admit my heart flutters for a guy willing to sacrifice himself for the girl he loves (Can I say Sydney Carton?).
