Description
A custom plush toy of a Maokai sapling from League of Legends.This little guy was quite a challenge, but came out better than I could have hoped for. I really hope he will be loved by his new owner.

I'll admit that I had to look up an image of a Maokai Sapling
I can only imagine what kind of a challenge you had to undertake for the top of the sapling to get all the interconnecting branches to be symmetrical and also look natural but you really did a great job. Though I do think the eyes could be better since they seem to be the weakest point as it looks like you tried to incorporate cat/reptile eyes but didn't quite distinguish the parts of the eyes by color. It might work if you put a small bit of stuffing behind the eye to give it a bit of a bulge.

Oh I didn't know what they were either, it was a commission. Yeah those branches were a pretty big challenge, and I had no idea how it was going to come out until it was done. I did the detail on the eyes on a whim, tried to make them look vaguely glowy. Could have gone worse

I can't think of a way that a glow effect could've been done without it being temporary like a sharpee, but the end result still turned out brilliantly! It really showcases your talent when issued a challenge.

I thought about making a stencil and spraying it with some glow in the dark spray paint I have, but I was afraid I'd ruin it. I would probably all flake off over time anyway.

If you wanted to get EXTRA fancy, you could've put plastic eyes with a green film and a tiny light inside that you could wire up, but then you'd have to worry about the bulb or battery dying and I doubt think replacing that would be easy.
