So Hot Topic is running an Avatar: The Last Airbender contest, and unlike the Invader Zim one, I managed to get an entry done in time to enter! If you like the art and could drop a vote for it on their site that'd be much appareciated c: I'd also recommend checking out the rest of the entry gallery (you can vote multiple times), there's some awesome stuff.

I feel the simple act of sharing a cup of tea, as well as the White Lotus, represent a nice togetherness between the nations while still letting individual differences shine through (so many types of tea after all). Plus it's hard not to love Iroh. I did see a couple other entries including Iroh sitting under a tree so I'm a little shaken on my originality over the concept but I quite liked this idea and wanted to see it through. In the end I think it's different enough to stand on it's own and either way I enjoyed drawing this...maybe a little too much as far as the overload of sparkles are concerned.
