Description
I ran as fast as I could, holding my friend, Kairi's, hand. I was scared. What are they?
When I thought about it...it scared me to death. I still ran, with all I could. Dragging Kairi with me. We were only mere 4 year olds. Why were they after Kairi? She's just a normal kid. Isn't she?
In a hurry, I turned to a corner on the right. I looked behind Kairi, only to see that the purple monsters were closer than before. Both of us screamed. I stopped, running into a wall. As those purple things were about to jump on us, Kairi tugged on my arm, pulling me with her, as we both ran pass the creatures. Kairi ended up running up to a blue haired lady. She touched the key looking weapon. My friend panted a bit in exhaustion. Kairi looked up at the woman, as she whispered something. The lady didn't look very good. She looked tired. As the monsters were about to jump on us, I felt my back tingle a bit, before I began running back down to town. "I'm such a scaredy cat!" I yelled, feeling tears as I ran.
Coward...
What..?
I stopped once I went pass the gates and into a garden. Pain striked my back. "Owch!" I said to myself. Without knowing. I slowly lost my vision, and went unconscious.
Within the Heart
I stood up, staring at the black room. I stood up, coming face to face with a man in a suit. Staring at his helmet, I could...feel pain. I ran up to him, cautiously. I stood a few feet away from him. "Who are you?" I questioned. "You seem to be tired." I said smiling a bit. The man scoffed. "Weakling. I don't even know why I'm even here." He walked further away, in the opposite direction. I saddened a bit. Then I had an idea."I can see through your pain. I don't know, but I think you may need my help." I yelled out to him. The mysterious man chuckled. And turned his head back to look at me. "A kid like you? Please don't make me laugh." I frowned, looking at him angrily.
Back to [F/n]
"[F/n].. Wake up." I felt a small light. I sat up quickly. I looked around, and saw Kairi smiling. Behind her, was Kairi's Grandma. "Oh, you're finally awake. Would you like some water to drink..?" Grandma smiled too, looking at me. I just nodded in response, as I felt sweat form on my head. "Are you okay [F/n]?"
I frowned, and shook my head. "What happened..? We came into the garden and just saw you lying on the floor." I just stared back at Kairi. Then back to the ground, despite the pain in my chest, I felt many tears fall down my face. "I...I don't remember." My friend hugged me. "Its okay. Grandma says Light will always be there. No matter what!" She spoke out, smiling brightly.
I stared at her face for a long moment. My frown formed a smile.
"Yeah..."
I nodded. Smiling.
Nothing bad will happen. Nothing...at all.
But...boy, was I wrong.
