This is my thought of what I think.

(AU before Discord reform) When Screwball brakes her father out of stone prison for the first time they run off and hide. Discord ready to cause mischief and chaos around Equestria along with his daughter by her side. Until Screwball spot a family spending time together and she fell a bit sad thinking she doesn't have a mother in her life. When Discord caught her sadness he tries cheering her up but doesn't work. He goes looking for a mare to act like a mother to screwball, until he finds the perfect mare (Fluttershy) for the job. Late in the night Fluttershy about to head to bed until she heard a strange noise coming from the next room. Fluttershy goes to investigate and spot Discord on a chair swirling a glass of chocolate milk. The two talk a bit and he gets her into a trance. Screwball appear wondering where her dad went. Discord tells her "Screwball, met your new mother." slightly pushes Fluttershy to Screwball. The hypnotic pony said "...my screwball." hugging her. Screwball hugs back and slowly cries of happiness and looks at her dad saying "thank you daddy". He smiles as her wrap his tail around them.
