AppleDash is cool, because they're both tomboy- competitive types
But to me that just makes them too identical, so it would be better off if they were best friends/awesome bros
FlutterDash to me is better, because not only have they known each other since fillyhood, but their personality types balance out the others so well (opposites attract after all)
For example, Fluttershy is quiet and gentle, but needs to be learn to be assertive- RD can teach her just that
And Rainbow Dash is cocky, fiery and rough, she's strong- but she needs to tap more into her nurturing side, Fluttershy can teach her just that
