About this vector.This is my first vector of one of my favorite all time video game characters, Shadow The Hedgehog
BOY!
This character was very TOUGH to vector!
I was originally going to add a white shade around his spikes, but it looked very ugly to me
The reason that I had a lot of trouble with vectoring him, is because Shadow The Hedgehog is a very shady looking character.
When I've vectored Rita The Cat, she had only one shade, and she took me about 12 hours, when I've vectored Raichu, he again only had one shade, when I've vectored Shadow The Hedgehog, he has around six different types of shades, and it took me around 12 hours to vector him.
The other reason that I've had a very hard time vectoring Shadow, was his air shoes, is his air shoes flat, or curve?
About Shadow The Hedgehog.
I remember playing Sonic Adventure 2 Battle on my Nintendo Gamecube, and when I've first heard about this game, I was really excited
And when I've played the game, I've really enjoyed playing as Shadow The Hedgehog, his levels were AWESOME!
Expect for Rail Canyon, I didn't like to jump up and down, just to move the elevator
I remember that I've used to use my Action Replay, just to play as Sonic The Hedgehog in Shadow's levels, and Shadow The Hedgehog in Sonic's levels, and they pretty much are the same type of character, I think that levels on Shadow's end, were just superb, with exception of Rail Canyon, I think that's the name of the level, it's been a while since I've played that game

I like the Sonic franchise, so seeing someone do a artwork of one of characters is pretty cool. Shadow is a hard character, but you did a very excellent job on it. Everything is in the right place and the color is right on, the proportions is right. I like how you get a since of how Shadow is right off the bat.
I think this should be the new face of the Sonic franchise or at least the face of Sega, but that's just me.
Overall, its awesome and straight out cool. Very good job. Very good job indeed.

I think that you've done a very great job here with Shadow. It's more than just the body that you got right that impresses me, it's the details. Everything is just so and all in place from the rings to the designs of the shoes which I find to be the most complex and difficult things to get right. All I would suggest here is measure the height of certain color lines on the body a bit more because they look slightly uneven. But this is still a great picture and you did Shadow justice. Great job here, my friend.

I think next time, I'll vector him from the video game, instead from Sonic X
But I will still use the colors from the show
I've still got a problem with having his original white shading around his spiky hair, it just doesn't seem right to me
But now, I have even a bigger problem
You see, I've just bought Anime Studio Pro 9 for my Mac, for about $200.00, and now the darn thing won't play in my mac
This is the second time, that their so called software, fails to even work on my computer

All I've wanted was, to have my created vectors move, why is it so hard just to get a good software, that works?
Oh well, maybe I'll get the thing to work, or maybe I'll call them up, if they even answer their phone

Looks good. Lots of detail. However his shoes arnt right though but you did good. Im sorry but im picky like that so forgive me. You did awsome job on it and i hope you have more. I like artist that can draw shadow this well and you are one of them. Dont stop this kind of drawing. I hope you draw more and there must be more than this. Have you ever considered a scouter on this? That would look awsome. So like i said, great job but try to get the shoes to look better. A littel more detail and time on them and you got it.

Since I've vectored traced it from Sonic X, I couldn't tell on where his shoes are lined up
I think next time, I'll vector trace Shadow from Sonic Adventure 2 Battle, from my Xbox 360
I can use his colors from Sonic X, can't I?
I'm still not too sure about adding the white shades around his spiky hair, it just looks really off that way to me
And I think, I can still use this vector for a few things, maybe have Shadow in a picture somewhere, where I can cover his shoes?
Or I can just upgrade this picture, sometime later in the future

Haha! Do what you want! I love it and you did awsome. Sure go ahead on the xbox 360 one. That would be cool. Try darker shades. When i draw shadow a scouter, pistol, machine gun on his back, motercycle or darker shading around the quills always looks awsome. Just pratice until you get them. Dont hide um. Practice takes time yes but in the end, lots of people will favriote you and talk to you and who knows? Mabye youll become the next DA top artist.
