I never watched G1 My Little Pony, but I am willing to give it a chance unlike some who feel the need to rag on the previous generations. This vector looks cute.

I just don't get it, they are all the same ponies from the same show so, why are they hated for the bronies?

It's because they're not 'sexy and cute' for others to 'clop' over or that it was made differently since they didn't have the advance technology back then. Not to mention that it has a lot of adventures and not so much slice of life that the fanbrats can relate to and adventures are for 'loser nerds' only.
They even assumed that G1 has a tea party episodes but I can tell you that I've watched all G1 seasons 1 and 2 and not one episode had a tea party episode, only in G3 series had them but not G1. G1 is all adventure and fantasy based but the fanbrats wouldn't know since they don't even bother watching the entire series and just assumed that it 'sucks' by watching ten seconds of it or listening to others(who also never watched the show) and go by their opinions instead of watching it for themselves. But I believe the real reasons why they will not watch them is because that means they were wrong that G1 series was hardly 'girly' and make asses out of themselves or that they'll end up liking it and go against their views like one user above.
If the anti fans can watch FIM shows, let alone the entire series, why can't the FIM purists do the same on pre FIM shows like anti fans did? If they can do it, then they should do the same. After all, they're the same people who bitched at the anti fans who hate FIM without watching it is that they should watch the show before forming their own opinions. But when it comes to pre FIM shows, they can't follow their own advice and they wonder why their fandom is hated.
I won't deny that G1 had a crappy animation, the characters are one dimensional or had little to no personalty, and the voice acting as well as the songs sucks but others will say the same thing to FIM thirty years from now when there's a new technology of the MLP show and fans will insult FIM by saying the animation is 'crap'.

G1's animation doesn't look that bad (I've seen worse), nor does the voice acting sound bad to me, and from what I've heard, the characters do have personalities in there (Wind Whistler is smart, Firefly is a daredevil, Shady has sadly low self esteem). That is a flaw though I will say, some characters you'd have to read some of the G1 books or comics to understand their personality. I also like some of the songs too; Dancing on Air is a great one
Haters should respect it and realize that if it weren't for G1 G4 wouldn't have existed. Because of fans like this, G1 is easier for me to get into.
And I say to them; if you don't think they're "sexy" for others to "clop" (how did the term "clop" come to be?), then why not just draw some R34 of them to make them look like that?!!? I already saw some G1 clop pic of Medley and Firefly, aye yi yi.

During my research in the show to know where attack them i do know that g1 is way more appealing despise is not my cup of tea because of their villians and "action".

G1 has more action and villains than FIM does while G3 has none. Even if G1 had a better animation and all that shit, the FIM purists still wouldn't give them a second look.

I agree, I hate G1 haters. Though I've heard the majority of MLP bronies have no problem with G1, haters should realize if it weren't for G1 their stupid FiM (sorry, but haters piss me off) wouldn't exist today.

I like Moondancer's new appearance, but I wish she was based on the US version and I'm not too big on her glasses though.

I kinda like her new appearance based on European version(I've been trying to get my hands on that one but no luck, it's like trying to catch a rare Pokemon). I do think her glasses should be smaller and as for her hair style. It looks too much like a recolor of Twilight Sparkle. I prefer the comic version's of Moondancer than the TV version.

And yes, G1 was horrible, but G4 also had some episodes that didn't meet show quality!
But just like with Lauren Faust, who still loves G1 Firefly, and G1 Twilight is also among her favorite of G1, she've also based her main G4 characters from their G1 counter parts, with the exception of both personalities, and some of their designs!
Plus, someone once told me that, if the creator of Friendship is magic, can love a G1 character, then can't anyone else, like one too?
Or is just the creator the only one that is allowed to like a few past gen characters, and everybody who isn't the creator, can just leave?

G1 isn't horrible from what I've glimpsed; I think it's really good, just as great as FiM, but I respect your opinion...
