So um, I'm back!!! After almost a year-long hiatus of vectoring I decided to vector a scene of Sunset Shimmer from Rainbow Rocks!! I think that the movie kinda inspired me to start vectoring / arting again
I really really enjoyed it and have watched it more times than I can count. Something about the music, characters, story-line, and subtle fan-nods really made the movie stand out to me. I've been listening non-stop to some of the music, and can't wait for some fan-made remixes of them!Anyhow, this vector is a slightly shaded Sunset Shimmer from the end fight scene where she gets ears and a super long ponytail! I really liked her character development, so I might be making some more vectors of her soon!
As for the vector program that I was working on, it has been on hold for a while now. I got super burned out, work got busy, and I just fell into a bit of a slump for a while. I really would like to start it up again, but I want it to be something fun for me to work on and not feel like a chore (like Ponyscape was starting to be). If I decide to continue my work on it, I'll definitely put up a journal and might even assemble a team this time around so that I'm not doing a majority of the coding.

It really isn't Windows 8 friendly. I still can't figure out how to get it downloaded correctly.

Yeah, unfortunately I didn't do any testing on Windows 8 with it (my main OS is Arch Linux and I have a Windows 7 and a Mac OSX VM which I rarely use), but I would think it should still run ok. There's no installer, you just need to download the package, extract it to its own folder using a program like 7-zip, and then run ponyscape.exe from inside the folder where it extracted. I'm pretty much done with it for now though, I don't really have the time to offer any support, but hopefully you can get it working!

Hopefully you could start testing on that soon when you get the time. I tried 7-zip so many times, but I can't figure out what to do with it. I know 8 has backwards compatibility, but haven't figured that one out yet.
