Oh god, the hand just does it for me, even the hip...thing pose. Although the "Bitching Girlfriend" pose with the hands on the hips and feet apart look would work soooooo well too.

Because they're traditionally among the ' prettiest ' and most slender in the (overall boxy, seekers included) cast, so it's not such a stretch to exaggerate that feature for fanart purposes.
