Description Valley of the Butterflies, Rhodes Island, GR

A valley where a rare species of butterflies finds refugee and manages to reproduce.

Flash was prohibited, thus the image is kinda dark, since the whole valley was covered by huge trees that almost blocked every sunray.

Oh you are lucky to have been there then I agree it's really pretty and so peaceful, even when a whole bunch of tourists is around

Yes I was, but I did not have a digital camera then, so I should go back again. I have tried to scan some old photos, but the results are not so good.

Yes, it was And there were wooden bridges everywhere and small paths, from where you could see trees where butterflies were resting or hiding, it was really nice because at the same time you were not disturbing them the way the area was made by the locals.

Yes, like I said, it's because of the shadow I could not use Flash or anything to fix it. The butterflies would get disturbed.
