You're welcome! ^^ And so do I, but my brother makes good backrounds. The "night" one is for a drawing of mine

The trees are good (You could even have darkened the closest one more, and lightened the furthest one too, so as to accentuate the depth perception), but the grass feels weird: it is organized in layers, each layer is "brushed" in a different way (some are straight, some are brushed on the left, some on the right...) and they are all the same size, thus nulling the depth perception. Also, I don't think we should see grass at the top of the picture, it lacks some real background (sky, or more trees), unless we are in a steep slope. Ah, and we can see some grass behind the trees.
Sorry for the critique, I just hope it will help you :3 It's a neat job anyway, just keep up with the practicing!

I kind of envisioned this one as viewed from a branch of another tree, which is why the grass goes all the way up, though I probably could've had some manner of branch near the bottom or something to help illustrate this, and I don't think I was really thinking that hard when I was drawing the grass, because it actually gets *longer* the further away it gets, which doesn't make any sense at all, but this was done while I was splitting my attention between it and watching episodes at the meetup. XD
