Yeah, That happened to me once in The Sims. I was building a cafe' or something and after more than an hour working on it I lost it; Either I didn't save it or the computer lost power, Something happened. It can teach something though.

That's too bad. It happens to me sometimes too, when I'm working on an artwork. Photoshop suddenly freezes and hours of work, gone.
