Description A Ref sheet of how I depict All of the SOUL Modes from Undertale in my AU.  Instead of having the SOUL change color, their entire body changes color to match the SOUL mode.  Just Keep in mind that this is how Team Aurora, the Guardians of Harmony, and anyone else will look like when in a "Monster Fight" as I like to call them, and when you're Reading this little story I made about them teaching the Students at Harmonic U about the Monster Fights and the SOUL modes!  And as for the "Switched" SOUL mode, that's something for later Also if you're wondering about Weather or not I'm doing a Deltarune AU, It's all explained right here:

www.deviantart.com/fluttershy9…

Anyway, please enjoy this little story! :3

All of the Students, Team Aurora and the Guardians of Harmony are assembled on the hoofball field behind the school.  There is some light Chatter among the students.  Then Frisk comes forth and breaks the silence.

Frisk:  Hello every-creature!  We have gathered you all here for a very special lesson that I’m sure you’ll love!

Chara:  We are going to engage you all in a monster fight!

There are some collected gasps and discussion amongst the students.

Rainbow Dash:  It’s not what you think!  It’s actually pretty fun!

Charmander Alex:  Yeah, it’s how we were able to make our way through the Underground to free all the monsters!

More Student discussion

Lloyd:  Trust us, once you see what it’s about, you’ll have a blast!

Asriel:  And we’ve brought in a special guest here today for this very lesson, Miss Muffet!

Muffet:  Hello Dearies!  I hope we all have fun today!

Cheese Sandwich:  Alright!  Let the lesson begin!

Sans snaps his fingers, and the entire world is plunged into darkness, and all the student’s appearances, including Team Aurora and the Guardians of Harmony become black and white.  With hearts of all different colors depicted as necklaces around their necks. All of the students look baffled.

Laval:  Don’t mind the black and white looks, it’s all part of the battle!

Frisk:  You all see those hearts that are on you?

The students look to examine the hearts

Frisk:  Those are your souls, they are a very important factor in monster fights.

Toy Chica:  And if you do this-

She taps the left side of her sternum (The part above the chest for those who don’t know) and a stat screen appeared, showing her as an LV 6, with 54 HP and 28 DF.  The rest of Team Aurora, the Guardians of Harmony, and the Students do it as well, depicting their stats.

Toy Chica:  This shows your stats, what Level you are, how much Defense you have, and how much HP you have.

Macy:  When you get attacked in a monster fight, you lose HP.  And if your HP reaches zero-

Mae:  YA DIE!

There is an audible gasp heard from the students.

Pearl:  (Quick to calm the students down) BUT..... as long as you’ve saved, you’ll be ok.

Rosie:  Yeah, once you die and if you’ve saved, you’ll respawn, and you fall down from the sky and land on the ground!  Don’t worry, it shouldn’t hurt.

Jay:  Unless you land on someone, THEN it hurts!

They all tap their sternum’s again, making the stat screens vanish.

Rhogon:  But we didn’t save!

Twinkle Twirl:  Yeah you did, that star that I have you all touch made you all save.

Chara:  Alright!  Now let’s get this lesson Started!

Twilight:  Let’s discuss survival, if an attack comes your way, just simply move out the way of it!

Asriel shoots a bullet pattern of stars and the students try and move out of the way, but one student, a mare, Sunny Daze, gets hit and losses 5 HP.

Sunny Daze:  Ow!  These actually hurt!

Papyrus:  Now if a light-blue attack comes your way, stay completely still, and you won’t get hurt!

He throws light-blue bones at the students and a majority of them stay still.

Peridot:  Oh!  Sans!  Tell them about the “Blue stop signs!”

Sans:  Oh yeah! (Turns to the students) An easy way to remember the blue attack is to think of “Blue stop signs!”

Silverstream:  Oh! I get it! Stop signs are red, but you have to STOP for the blue attack!  I love it!

Alphys:  If an orange attack approaches, be sure to keep moving and you won’t get hurt!

She activates orange lasers and the students run like crazy, and didn’t get hurt.

Sandbar:  Wow, this is actually pretty cool!

Sans:  Let’s discuss SOUL modes now.

He snaps his fingers and all of the Students, Team Aurora and the Guardians of Harmony turn blue.

Sans:  If you are blue, then you will be affected by gravity.  In this case, it will be harder for you to jump, but you’ll jump higher when you do!

He throws some tall bones the student’s way, and a majority of them, make it over them.  But despite this, laughter can be heard, showing that the students are realizing how fun this actually was.  After the attack is over, Undyne slashes a spear at the students, creating a wave of light turning them and Team Aurora and the Guardians of Harmony green.

Undyne:  If you’re green, you’re given a shield to defect incoming attacks.  Just hold out your hands, or hooves, or whatever appendages you creatures have in front of you to make a shield.

She demonstrates, and then launches a bullet pattern of spears at the students and the students use their shield to deflect them.  After the spears have ceased, Muffet splashes everyone with a purple liquid from her teapot, turning everyone purple.

Muffet:  If you’re purple, you will be confined to move along a set of strings.  Just jump from one string to another to avoid the incoming attacks.

A set of 3 purple strings appear, and the students avoid the attacks by jumping from the strings.  After that attack is over, Mettaton snaps her fingers and everyone turns yellow.

Mettaton:  If you’re yellow, you’re given the ability to shoot bullets at opposing attacks.  Just flick your fingers, (or hooves or other appendages (robotic cough)) to shoot.

The students flick their fingers, hooves, and other appendages to shoot bullets at the opposing attacks, but some ultimately end up shooting one another.

Timber Spruce:  Please refrain from shooting eachother!

The attack ends and everyone goes back to being black and white.

Alex:  Alright, now it’s time to teach you what do when it is your turn!

A menu showing buttons that say FIGHT, ACT, ITEM, and MERCY all appear in front of everyone.

Alex:  If you choose to FIGHT, a hit-ratio scale will appear.  And depending on where you land your hit, you deal a certain amount of damage.

She selects FIGHT and lands the needle on the far right side, a weak attack, then punches Garnet in the face, taking off 10 HP.

Garnet:  Ow!

Alex:  Oh come on!  I only took of 10 HP, you have 3,000!

Cole:  And the Middle is a critical.  It deals the most damage.

He opens the FIGHT menu and lands the needle in the middle and drop-kicks Foxy in the face, causing his head to spin around and taking off half his HP.

Foxy:  Aye!  Why do you keep going for us?

Cole:  Well you guys have the most HP.

Frisk:  ACTing gives you a variety of actions depending on who or what your opponent is.

He opens the ACT menu.  There are 2 actions, check and hug.

Frisk:  Checking shows you the opponent’s stats.

He selects check, and a description is typed out above Twilight.

Twilight Sparkle – AT 250 DF 40

The Princess of Friendship and the Headmare of Harmonic University, the School of Friendship

The students all express their amazement, and Twilight Blushes at the unexpected attention.

Frisk:  The other options change depending on who your opponent is.  Once you select an option, you have to do that option to make it count.

Frisk selects hug and hugs Chara.  The students “aww” and Chara blushes at the sudden contact in front of a big audience.

Frisk:  MERCY allows you to end the fight.

He opens the MERCY menu and there are 2 options, spare and flee.

Frisk:  Fleeing gives you the chance to run away and end the fight like that.  Unless you’re green, then you can’t escape.  But sparing makes you end the fight on a positive note with the opponent.  But the fight will only end when you spare the opponent and their name is yellow in the menu.

He selects spare, and then selects “everyone” which was yellow, and the fight ends, making the world come back, and having everyone not be black and white anymore.  The students express their amazement.

Frisk:  And that concludes our monster fight lesson!  Please make your way back inside the school and go have your lunches.  Be sure to hit the save star again upon your arrival back into the school to regain any HP you may have lost.

Muffet:  And be sure to stop by the booth that me and my spiders have set up in the cafeteria.  We’re serving spider pastries that were freshly baked this morning, all proceeds go to real spiders!

Frisk:  Enjoy the rest of the day students!

They all make their way back to the school, talking to one another about how the fight was and how amazing it had been.
