Hi Everyone! Thanks to everyone who left me a happy comment last night when I was feeling down <3 You really helped cheer Β me up so I wanted to share a happier little piece of work today <3 I feel if I'm going to share my bad times with you all...its only fair to share the good times too ^_^Β
Thanks again everyone! And I hope you've had a wonderful Sunday <3 I know I cant wait for winter to pass so we can get back to the sunny days of Spring. ^_^

I sketch everything out in pencil first and scan it in ^_^ Then I clean everything up in Flash so that Fluttershy and the Butterflies can have nice crisp lines. And then I import that all into Photoshop to add the textures and tweak the colors and contrast a bit ^^Β
So all in all its three steps <3

I never thought of importing things to another program before.
I used to scan in sketches in pencil all the time, that's why I have a ton of traditional work uploaded. I actually haven't done that since I got a tablet. I just use it to sketch now, took a while to get used to but I think it saves a lot of time and is actually easier since I don't have to erase everything all the time.
I normally sketch with my tablet in Paint SAI of the general messy idea of something I want to draw, outline it in sharp and clean lines using another layer, and then color everything in. I've never messed with contrast or textures though. And shadows are a pain.
I was actually thinking of getting Photoshop, as people seem to be able to do a lot more with a lot less. I might end up using both programs if that ends up being the case. Dunno which Photoshop would be the one I should use though.

When y feel bad I usually listen to music which lyric makes me feel better but nothing like sad music. I'm talking about rock, metal or some pop... Try doing it
