Just asking, in a way, this would make Celestia her actual mother. This would also make sense for the show in one way, if you expand beyond what DHX and Hasbro bring to the table. I mean covering her true identity with Shining Armor and his parents is a sneaky move. It might also explain why she is the only one capable of becoming an alicorn.
