As usual, the most impressive aspect of this piece is the technique. Everything from the lifework to the shading to the coloring is done cleverly. However, what I really admire in this drawing is the decision to not only put a petrified Rainbow Dash in the background, but to also make her completely absent of color. You know how in classic cartoons whenever a character gets nervous about something all of their door drains like a filter? It kind of feels like that, only funnier with the facial expression and the quotation just consisting of "…". It just looks hilarious. In fact, I almost imagine this a s a fantasy of Trixie's. Like, this is how she'd imagine how the shred off should've gone down, and this is her interpretation of the events. It would be totally in character for her to do so. If there is any criticism I would make about this illustration, it's that the lines around Trixie should look a little more like zig zags. Right now, all I see are a bunch of squiggly lines that just look like you were sort of doodling. Make them look more like the ones that are above Trixie's head, and you'll be set. Besides that, this piece is very well crafted, and very humorous to look at. I've always enjoyed reviewing your work, FlutterThrash, and this is no exception!
