Description
Their land, their blood!PPSh-41, the main sub-machine gun of the soviets during WW2. They would arm entire companies with these guns and charge at the germans, sending thousands of rounds every second. Also, a german soldier would often switch his MP-40 for a PPSh-41 if he was lucky enough to find one. Because it was faster, more powerful and had a bigger magazine than his own weapon.
It was used in large numbers until the 60s during the Vietman war by the Vietcong troops. However, like many other WW2 firearms, it is still used in very small numbers by rebels in Syria and other neighbour countries.
It's more or less like a compact MG-42, but less quicker and powerful for obvious reasons.

I thought the Soviets were so short on materiel in WW2 that they gave their soldiers one rifle, two bullets, a loaf of bread, and told them to go kill a german soldier and take his weapons, ammo, and provisions.Β Or was that later on in the war...?

That was early in the war. Because Stalin killed most of his high-ranking generals and the beginning of the war was hell for the soviets because of that.
After Stalingrad they got much better.

Β Β See what I mean? She sprayed bullets all over the damn place. You've got to pick your targets by aiming deliberately down your sights from a stable stance. Private Pinkie, show our friends here how the Pies take down a target. Crouch first, then aim down your sight at the targets.

Β That's all there is to it. You want your targets to go down? You gotta aim down your sights. Aiming down your sights also works for switching quickly between targets. Aim down your sights, then pop in and out to acquire new targets. Show 'em Private. If your target is close to where you are aiming, you can snap to it quickly by aiming down your sights.

Β Now that's how you do it. You want to take down your targets quickly and with control. Now if your target is behind light cover, remember that certain weapons can penetrate and hit your target. The Private here will demonstrate.

Their roles are completely different, I know. But their designs are kinda similar, they're the fastest on their own categories, they both were captured by the enemy most of the time.
