Phew...feel like a loads been lifted =w= I hate having art trades sit here for extended amouts of time
This one is for a trade with of her Oc The Wicked Witch of the West in control of her other oc, the Tin soldier, locked in combat with my guy Flyger. No story behind this pic...just an interesting thought lol As for the witch, i wanted to give her a different look to her eyes, but it kept coming out like a homestuck oc xD So I just leveled with the black and green scheme lol
But all that aside, there ya have it! Oh and check her out sometime, she has a whole buncha characters with interesting stories that make ya wanna draw um lol Shes doing a story based on the Wizard of Oz...it sounds pretty neat

Yeah its hard as hell to try anything witch wise without their classic shades of green and black but hey read Tarot Witch Of The Black Rose and I"m sure you'll get some good ideas on how a witch can be styled, lol.
Much like the change to something dramatic and intense like you usually do around here flygerXamber, heck like alot of anything you seem to upload! ^o^
There's some great level of tension you show yourself in your piece here from the way you have each character hold their ground to even the way you show each other's own force giving weight and making them react to the intended attack from the other, in short good fighting realism!
Even like the added perspective of each character so that you can pick apart from the Flyger's foot almost in your face to the cackling witch in the background. Wish so much there we ladies like Tin there in the Wizard Of Oz, but hey kudos again sir to taking up a trade with your friend there.
Also good use of eye contact. Aye that does sound weird but it does show a sense of direction to the way they focus on each other in the fight to even the cooing looks of the Witch as she watch the battle with such joy no doubt.
Recognize the background and the dark lighting from another piece you once did and well done using the limited lighting like on the rocks to brighten up the battlefield so that your not getting lost in the darkness of the night. Oh yes and speaking of brightening things up a damn nice touch on the sparks flying between the two as their arms collide, quite surprised the times see people neglect those kind of key details.
Certainly not you though lad and cheers again to your continued growth and skills on each new work man, and of course a nice booty rendered there on Tin, definitely couldn't miss that out! ^o^

loll xD Well I gotta stick a lil ecchi in there somewhere right? ;D And I really had fun drawing this one. Experimented with a lot of colors and shading/shadowing and whatnot...Hopefully in the future my pictures will be less bright xD I mean I know thats what defines my style, but I wanna be able to step out my boundaries every once in a while lol
