How to bake the elephant from the German TV-program "The Show with the Mouse"

What you need:
- a recipe for brownies
- a marzipan cake cover
- food colourings (I used Crazy Colours)
- liquorice wheels (I used HARIBO)

1. Draw a rough sketch of the elephant, bake brownies and use the sketch to cut an elephant-shaped brownie.

2. Cut the marzipan cake cover into shape (use the sketch adding the height of the brownie).

3. Coat the elephant-shaped brownie with the marzipan cake cover and paint it blue. While the colour being wet, do the contours with black liquorice wheels.

4. When everything has dried, paint the eyes white and the toes yellow.

"The Show with the Mouse" is a German children's television series, popular nation-wide for its educational content. The show first aired in 1971. In the upper right corner you can see the wonderful protagonists, check also this compilation of little TV-spots to get to know them better:
